Cancelling Your Subscription

Method 1: From Your Account (Recommended)

1. Go to: `/account` 

2. Click "Cancel Subscription" 

3. Confirm cancellation 

4. See confirmation: "Subscription will cancel on [date]"

Method 2: From Billing Portal

1. Click "Manage Billing & Payment"

2. In Stripe portal, click  "Cancel plan"

3. Confirm cancellation 

4. Choose when to end access

What Happens When You Cancel

- ✅ Keep access until the end of paid period 

- ✅ Receive confirmation email 

- ✅ No further charges 

- ❌ Access ends on: [end date] 

- ✅ Account remains active (reverts to free)

Example 1:

Subscribed: January 1st 

Cancelled: January 15th 

Paid Until: February 1st 

Access Until: February 1st ← You keep access! 

Reverts to Free: February 1st

Example 2:

Subscribed: January 1st

Cancelled: February 1st (too late, already renewed)

Paid Until: March 1st

Access Until: March 1st ← You keep access!

Reverts to Free: March 1st
